Lockdown Update 12th Sep 2021
Good afternoon Parents/ Caregivers and Students of Te Awamutu College
The vast majority of students returned to school on Thursday 9 September when school reopened.
(ALL students should be attending unless unwell or for some other JUSTIFIABLE reason.)
Students were pleased to see their friends and reconnect with their teachers in person; and to resume teaching and learning in a way that most students prefer and need.
Senior students (Years 11-13) received their revised ASSESSMENT WEEK SCHEDULE- which begins on Tuesday 14 September. Teachers have been able to remind students of instructions and what’s on for them during the schedule.
As well as “practice “ exams, internal assessments and reassessments, teachers have been inviting students with practical/ project/ portfolio- based subjects to come in during this time.
So, please ask to see this schedule and ask your child about their commitments. (The Assessment Week Schedule is on our website)

LRCs are added by NZQA once all internal and external assessment is finalised.
